Many of you have been asking about The Sword’s Choice 4 – The Ruby Hurricane, so I’m creating this post to share updates on how the book is coming along.
By the way, in case you didn’t know, a prequel to The Sword’s Choice has already been announced, so don’t miss it—the first volume is already out! Plus, there’s another project in the works, but I’ll share more about that soon. If you don’t want to miss any updates, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter (I only send emails when there’s big news about books or similar updates):

Is there a release date for book 4?
It’s still too early to give you a date. Keep in mind that The Citrine Earthquake was published in November 2023, so I need some more time. However, I can tell you that I’m already on the draft 2 of The Ruby Hurricane—so the first step is done!
This is the most challening of all the books I’ve written:¡ the reason? Because it happens to be the last volume in the series. This has a great implication: I want to deliver an ending worthy of the series, which requires both time and careful thought. I already have lots of notes on key events I want to include, but I don’t yet know how the story will end (although I’m very clear on the message I want it to convey).
I don’t have the cover yet either, but I’ll share it here as soon as it’s ready. An update here: I have a first draft of the cover.
The Ruby Hurricane appears to be a long book—maybe the longest one of the series—since there’s so much to resolve. But I promise it’ll feel short, because so many unexpected things will happen that will leave you absolutely stunned!

What will be the book about?
On Noakh’s side of the story, he and his companions will venture into the dangerous Void to take an alternative route to reach Firia. Once in the Kingdom of Fire, he’ll find a realm divided—some remain loyal to Wulkan, while others believe he has lost the favor of the Incandescent due to his order to retreat against Queen Graglia and Princess Vienne. This division will spark a battle for control, forcing alliances we’d never expect.
As for Vienne, it seems the war isn’t over yet. Her mother may have finally recognized her abilities, but Vienne still has much to fight for. Meanwhile, an unexpected event will force the Aquo army to split—a desperate decision by Queen Graglia to save those who believe they’ve lost Aqua Deus’s favor.
And there’s so much more. Aienne’s journey, the Daikan Arbilla… you have no idea how many surprises await you in the final book of the series. Please, be patient, it will be worth the wait! 😊
